Throughout the years, we have heard and watched men try many things to gain custody of their children. Also, you need to show that everything that you have done since the divorce was filed, has been in the best interest of the kids. Make sure the judge can see that you put the kids first in your life.

As Robert mentions above, keep everything you can so that you can prove the things that you have done for your kids. This includes receipts, cancelled checks, time taking kids to the doctor, school visits, etc. Think of anything that you have done for the kids as this can come to bear in the decision.
